Microblading / 3D Hair Strokes
Microblading 3D Hair Strokes is a relatively new semi-permanent method done with a manual hand-tool.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.
People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from 3D Hair Strokes, as well as people who simply aren't happy with their eyebrows.
The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them.
The results are natural, flawless, fuller looking. Initially, the brows appear darker, but will fade slightly over a two week period.
Pain is very minimal, topical numbing cream is applied to numb treatment area.
The results can last anywhere up to 1 + years with the manual hand-tool depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment for any permanent cosmetic procedure.
3D Nano Brows (Digital Machine)
If you're looking for something other than Microblading with similar texture and results, look no further! We also do 3D Nano Brows using the most advanced digital machine on the market that will give you beautiful results. This is a great option for someone who wants the look of feather-stroke eyebrows but wants more density in the brows, or has difficult oily skin or tough skin, where the Microblading doesn't work during the initial appointment.
*Please note: Just like with the Microblading, this technique is semi-permanent and requires a touchup session after the initial procedure, yearly touchups are also recommended to maintain the tattoo.
- Those with very oily skin may not hold the pigment as well and are more likely to need multiple touchups 1-2 after their initial procedure.
- Please read the Q&A section to see if you might not be a candidate for the eyebrow procedures. There are certain skin conditions that would make it unadvised to proceed with the procedure, your technician will review your medical history again on the day of the treatment and take a look at your individual skin composition to insure that you are a good candidate and that it can be performed in a safe manner.
- *This is MAY BE a 2 step procedure, first we do the initial procedure and implant the color, then you must come back around 4-6 weeks later once your skin is healed for the touchup appointment. Once you have completed both sessions your procedure is complete. End results are all affected by skin type and will vary from person to person.
We advise all clients to read and fully understand these terms and conditions prior to making an appointment.
Any Permanent/ Semi-permanent make up is a form of cosmetic tattooing where pigment is placed in the dermal/epidermal layer of the tissue. Retention of the pigment is out of our control, as it is determined by the patient’s skin type, how well they follow after-care procedures, as well as their immune system, therefore no specific result can be 100% guaranteed.
As a general rule and as explained, the patient should expect to book a maintenance appointment every 8-11 months. With that said, some factors will affect fading more quickly for some versus others. These factors include, but are not limited to the following:
Not taking proper care of procedure area after treatment.
Sunbathing or using sunbeds.
Using Retin A creams, or any other products that contain AHA’s, Glycolic or Vitamin A.
Certain skin treatments such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels.
Certain skin conditions and or excessively dry/oily skin types.
Specific medications which are known to cause increased fading.
Excessive use of alcohol.
Swimming in chlorinated pools
What can I expect during my 3D Hair Stroke appointment?
-You will come in and sign waivers and medical release forms, then have a consultation before you begin to discuss the desired brow shape you want to achieve and ask any and all questions. You will then receive topical numbing cream on treatment area. Your session will last anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours.
Are 3D Hair Strokes suitable for any complexion?
-Yes, this procedure can be done on any complexion. We color match your natural brow hairs and complexion. Please be advised that darker complexion may need multiple sessions.
Are 3D Hair Strokes painful?
-Topical numbing cream is applied to ease the pain from a level of 1-10 (10 being highest) clients have said it is about 3 - 5.
-Botox would have to be 2-3 weeks old before performing Microblading.
What factors affecting your ability to receive permanent makeup?
-Please be sure to inform your technician if you have any medical conditions including but not limited to diabetes, heart conditions, keloid or hypertrophic scarring, forms of hyper-pigmentation especially on facial area, extremely oily skin, any medical condition or treatment that compromises immunity, herpes, cold sores, bleeding disorders, pregnancy, etc.
